A:
There is a problem with your python 3 installation on your Windows machine.
You could try repairing your python 3 installation by using the Fix it tool (click on Start Menu, go to Programs, then click on Windows Software Incubator to get there).
The reason I mention that, is that I have faced a similar problem and using the repair tool fixed it.
Edit:
Here's another explanation on what is going on:
Q:
Recursively Find Substring in List of Lists
I am having trouble finding a substring in a list of lists.
If I have a list of lists with 100,000 lines of data, I want to find the first instance of a substring at any depth. For example, if my list was:
lst = [['a', 'b', 'c'], ['a', 'b', 'd', 'e'], ['a', 'b', 'c'], ['c', 'd', 'e']]
and my string to find was 'a', I would want to be able to find 'a' at any depth in the list and output just the first instance of 'a'.
So far I have been using:
lst = []
lst.append(lst)
def find_string(lst, s):
if len(lst) == 0:
return True
else:
found = False
for i in lst:
if i == s:
found = True
